The Jazz Crawl wouldn’t be possible without the help from our sponsors. Our Lagniappe Sponsors are showcased at the ‘Krewe Party’ in exchange for product donations that allow us to raise money. Krewe Sponsors donate cash for different levels of brand exposure like custom parasols and parade banners. Corporate Sponsors allow us to incorporate performing acts and youth groups from New Orleans to headline the ‘Spirit of New Orleans Concert’.
The Jazz Crawl is an inspiring cultural exchange that is fueled by local artists performing alongside artists from New Orleans. The Second Line parade, Congo Square African drum circle, and Memorial Gospel Dirge are presented by brass musicians, percussionists, dancers, and singers.
Another cultural exchange is through visual artists. Krewe Artists submit works inspired by a New Orleans Second Line parade in the heart of the host city or they cover the event with live painting, photography, or videography. Event Showcases honor local artists with an eye for the landscape, architecture, and culture of their city.
The implementation of educational programs that teach the music and dance that fuels Second Line culture will allow children the opportunity to perform on stage with the pros and soak up the downtown limelight by leading the parade as official Jazz Crawlers and Baby Steppers.
In order to successfully expand into new cities we are going to need help building relationships with the city, artists, and sponsors. Ambassadors that help us spread the word through market outreach and digital media will receive exclusive perks and Krewe benefits as we grow.
